Business as usual

Business as usual

We just wanted to let you know that BRF is still very much open and able to process all enquiries and orders. Like every other charity, organisation and business, we’re adapting to rapidly changing circumstances while doing everything we can to support our subscribers and customers.  You may well be looking for resources to help sustain, inspire or even distract you and we have a whole range of books and daily notes which might be exactly what you’re looking for.

All our Bible reading notes, from the ever-popular New Daylight to Bible Reflections for Older People, and Day by Day with God to Guidelines, are still available to cover the period to the end of April and the new issues for May to August  can all be ordered now.

Our recent titles include Resilience in Life and Faith by Tony Horsfall and Debbie Hawker, Finding God in a Culture of Fear by Joanne Cox-Darling, When you Pray by Joanna Collicutt, and Prayer in the Making by Lyndall Bywater.

Amy Scott-Robinson’s Image of the Invisible has ‘Advent Book’ printed on the cover but her lyrical, insightful reflections on images of God in scripture were warmly reviewed and are just as relevant at any time of the year.

If you find inspiration and comfort in visual images Ellie Hart’s Postcards of Hope offers delightful, hand painted images (and a few words) to ‘breathe life into your heart. John Stroyan’s Turned by Divine Love: Starting again with God and with others is also rich in inspiring Christian art and image.

And finally, if all you need is something to make you smile why not try Christian comedian Paul Kerensa’s gentle humour and Dave Walker’s cartoons in What ARE they doing down there? A God’s-eye view of the world, or what’s left of it…
